We are thrilled to introduce an exciting new opportunity for your child to explore the fascinating world of computing! Building upon the success of our workshops in Key Stage 2, we are delighted to launch the Riverside After School Tech Club, aimed at fostering the next generation of tech enthusiasts.

About the Club:
The club is designed to be an engaging, educational, and fun extracurricular activity for students who are curious about technology and eager to dive deeper into the world of computing. We've partnered with ComputerXplorers, a trusted name in educational technology programs, to bring a unique learning experience to our students.

What to Expect:

• Hands-On Learning: Participants will have the opportunity to explore various aspects of computing, from coding and robotics to digital design and more. It's a chance for them to get hands-on with technology and discover their passion.
• Creativity and Problem-Solving: Our club aims to enhance creativity and problem-solving skills, helping students build the tools and mindset needed to tackle real-world challenges.
• Teamwork and Collaboration: Through group projects and activities, students will develop teamwork and collaboration skills, preparing them for the future where technology plays a pivotal role in every field.

I am thrilled to share some exciting highlights from our Game Design Masterclass at ComputerXplorers After School Tech Club, where our young tech enthusiasts have been delving into the fascinating world of Game Design using Bloxels!

Over the past few weeks, our budding game designers have been immersed in a hands-on and creative learning experience, discovering the ins and outs of game development through the innovative platform of Bloxels. The enthusiasm and creativity displayed by the students have truly been remarkable.

Here are some key highlights from our Game Design Masterclass:

• Introduction to Bloxels: Our students have embraced the Bloxels platform with great enthusiasm, learning to design and build their own video games using digital elements.
• Creative Expression: Through Bloxels, our young designers have had the opportunity to express their creativity by designing characters, backgrounds, and game levels. It's truly inspiring to witness the unique and imaginative worlds they've brought to life.
•  Collaborative Learning: The After School Tech Club has provided a collaborative environment where students share ideas, troubleshoot challenges, and work together to create fantastic games. This teamwork not only enhances their technical skills but also fosters a sense of camaraderie among participants.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Game design inherently involves problem-solving, and our students have demonstrated exceptional problem-solving skills as they navigate through the challenges of creating interactive and engaging gaming experiences.
